Description

You will join MongoDB's Application Modernization Platform (AMP) team to drive the adoption of MongoDB by accelerating legacy application modernization. You'll use proprietary tools and methodologies to help customers migrate from RDBMS to MongoDB, modernizing both the application tier and database tier through services decomposition, code transformation, and automated testing.

Requirements

• 8-11 years related experience in customer-facing role, 5-7 years in enterprise software pre-sales
• 3+ years with modern scripting languages (Python, Node.js) or popular languages (Java, C#)
• Experience with modern software development processes and application architectures (agile, DDD, microservices, event-driven, etc.)
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems in cloud and on-prem
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Support sales and delivery of modernization engagements
• Facilitate technical workshops and discovery sessions with customer architects, developers, and business leaders
• Design scalable and highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-prem environments
• Install and deliver complex demonstrations with multiple applications on Docker and GitHub Codespaces
• Strategize with sales teams to drive multi-threaded account strategies
