You'll capture compelling video and audio elements for news, sports, and feature stories across television, social media, and mobile platforms. Your work will directly impact our local news coverage in the Hampton Roads market. This role offers the opportunity to work with a top ABC affiliate and use cutting-edge news gathering tools.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Capture video and audio for compelling news, sports, and feature stories.
• Operate ENG truck or IP-based live unit for live shots.
• Work both in a team and solo for daily news assignments.
• Attend editorial meetings and suggest story ideas.

📋 Requirements

• BA/BS in journalism or equivalent experience
• 0-1 years of experience in a newsroom environment
• Proficiency in photojournalism and non-linear editing
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate news vehicle

✨ Nice to Have

• NPPA membership and active participation
• Experience with EDIUS or other non-linear editing systems
• Knowledge of live news-gathering tools
