💼 About This Role

You'll own a substantial aspect of Guidance, Navigation, and Control for our next-generation reentry vehicles. You'll develop novel algorithms for final landing stages, build simulations, and rapidly flight test to achieve precise landings. This is a unique opportunity to define vehicle architecture and solve new design challenges for the world's first reentry vehicle designed to turn space into a transportation layer for Earth.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop novel GNC algorithms for final landing stages
• Build modeling and simulation for rapid iteration
• Flight test algorithms to achieve required performance
• Define vehicle architecture and solve new design challenges

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing and testing GNC algorithms and systems
• Strong understanding of controls and estimation algorithms including Kalman filtering and sensor fusion
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C++ for simulation and analysis

✨ Nice to Have

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering
• Experience with guidance and trajectory planning algorithms
• Experience building code deployed to real hardware in a compute-restricted environment
