Description

You will engage with customers throughout their development lifecycle, building presentations, delivering product demonstrations, and educating a range of audiences from developers to executives on Okta's Identity Platform. Your role involves discerning technical needs through detailed questions and presenting targeted solutions.

Requirements

• Passion to serve customers in a customer-facing role like consulting or support, ideally sales engineering
• Ability to quickly communicate complex technical ideas, ideally on the fly at a whiteboard
• Experience with at least one standard network security protocol (e.g., OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP)
• Experience in identity governance and administration (IGA) - identity lifecycle management, access reviews, RBAC, policy enforcement
• Experience in Privilege Access Management (PAM) - least privilege, JIT access, session monitoring, vaulting privileged credentials

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers at all stages of the development lifecycle via presentations, email, phone, and social media
• Build sales presentations and product demonstrations to educate customers on cloud security technology
• Discern customers' technical needs by asking detailed and clarifying questions
• Present solutions that target those needs using Okta's Identity Platform
• Advise a diverse set of customers on what is possible with Okta's Identity Platform
