💼 About This Role

You'll build scalable ML systems for evaluation and simulation at Waymo, an autonomous driving company. Your work will directly improve the Waymo Driver's performance across millions of miles. You'll apply RL and generative models to enhance autonomous vehicle evaluation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build scalable systems for training and fine-tuning generative models.
• Lead implementation of novel RL algorithms and reward functions.
• Develop deep learning and generative AI solutions for anomaly detection.
• Oversee production and optimization of ML models for fleet evaluation.

📋 Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in CS, ML, AI or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in ML with focus on Reinforcement Learning.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (JAX, TensorFlow).
• Experience with large-scale distributed training and data processing.

✨ Nice to Have

• 7+ years experience in ML/RL research and application.
• Experience in autonomous vehicles domain or robotics.
• Familiarity with large-scale simulation platforms.
