You'll design, administer, and optimize PostgreSQL databases in on-premises and cloud environments for mission-critical federal applications. You'll take deep technical ownership of database platforms and maintain stability, performance, and security under constant operational demand. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, administer, and optimize databases in on-premises and cloud environments
• Perform database performance tuning, backups, replication, and recovery
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and support containerized database operations
• Administer CI/CD pipelines and automation for database delivery

📋 Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance
• 5+ years of experience as a database administrator or engineer with primary focus on PostgreSQL
• Experience designing, implementing, managing, and tuning PostgreSQL databases in enterprise environments
• Certification meeting DoD 8140 (e.g., Security+, GSEC, or higher)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with high availability and disaster recovery configurations for PostgreSQL
• Experience enforcing database security controls including encryption and compliance-aligned auditing
