💼 About This Role
You'll design, develop, and deploy precision tooling and simulation systems for scalable high-performance manufacturing of large parts and assemblies. Your work will support Hadrian's Factory 3 in Mesa, Arizona and expansion into naval production. This role operates across our factory network, collaborating with leadership, automation, and engineering teams to shape future factory capabilities.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Develop low-, mid-, and high-fidelity simulations for factory build and optimization.
- Convert ambiguous layout concepts into executable DES and 3D simulations.
- Maintain and enhance simulation toolchain for long-term scalability.
- Create and manage a library of parametric and reusable simulation assets.
📋 Requirements
- Python (OOP) and Visual Components or similar simulation tools.
- Experience in discrete event simulation methodologies.
- Strong systems thinking balancing rapid prototyping and sustainable design.
- Ability to distill technical results for technical and non-technical audiences.
✨ Nice to Have
- Proficiency in CAD platforms (SolidWorks, NX) and Siemens TeamCenter.
- Background in industrial engineering principles (line balancing, ROI analysis).
- Experience with plugin development (Python/C#) and automated parametric asset creation.
