💼 About This Role

You'll design and implement control laws for a revolutionary seaglider, ensuring it transitions smoothly between flight modes. Your work on stabilization, navigation, and safety-critical systems will directly impact the vehicle's certification and real-world performance. You'll collaborate across disciplines and validate algorithms through high-fidelity simulation and real-world sea trials.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement control laws for stabilization and mode transitions.
• Define and trace safety-critical requirements and lead design reviews.
• Develop GNC algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink for high-fidelity simulation.
• Integrate multisensor navigation using GNSS/INS and radar altimeter.

📋 Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience designing and flight-testing control systems for aircraft or UAS.
• Strong theoretical foundation in control theory with hands-on application.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for control algorithm design and simulation.
• Experience with safety-critical or regulated programs (e.g., DO-178C).

✨ Nice to Have

• Direct contribution to ARP4754A, DO-178C, or DO-254 certification artifacts.
• Experience with CFD-coupled control design or ground-effect dynamics.
• Flight-test or sea-trial planning and execution.
