You'll assemble and integrate solar array mechanical systems for satellite bus production at a fast-growing aerospace startup. Your precision work on deployment mechanisms and structural subassemblies directly supports the growing demand for commercial spacecraft. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Assemble and integrate solar array structural subassemblies per engineering drawings.
• Install and torque mechanical fasteners to specified values using calibrated tools.
• Perform precision alignment and fit verification using calipers, micrometers, and indicators.
• Execute bonding and adhesive operations on structural joints per engineering procedures.

📋 Requirements

• U.S. Person status required for export-controlled data.
• 3+ years of precision mechanical assembly experience in aerospace or defense.
• Proficiency in mechanical fastening, torque procedures, and precision measurement tools.
• Experience assembling articulating mechanisms, linkages, or deployment systems.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with spacecraft solar array or deployable structure assembly.
• Familiarity with pantograph, scissor, or accordion-style deployment mechanisms.
• Familiarity with NASA-STD-5020 workmanship standards.
