💼 About This Role

You'll own hardware designs for fluid systems on fusion generators at Helion, solving multidisciplinary problems to deploy fusion energy. Your core impact is delivering hardware from concept through testing on Polaris, our next-generation prototype. You'll join a team that prizes urgency, rigor, and ownership in the race to build the world's first fusion power plant.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own and improve designs for fluids, thermal, and structural subsystems
• Design fusion hardware using 3D CAD software like NX
• Perform analysis with ANSYS Fluent and hold design reviews
• Troubleshoot hardware issues on integrated fusion generators

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 7+ years of professional experience on full-scope engineering projects
• Advanced experience with CAD software (e.g., NX, Solidworks)
• Hands-on exposure to fluids, mechanical, and thermal disciplines

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with ANSYS Fluent
• Knowledge of fusion or plasma systems
• Experience in power generation or energy industry
