💼 About This Role

You'll develop and validate coupled thermal–mechanical–fluid models for fusion hardware at a leading fusion power company. Your work will bridge simulation and experimental data to inform material selection and design. You will directly drive hardware decisions in a highly cross-functional team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop multiphysics models in MOOSE for high-temperature components
• Simulate coupled thermal, structural, and electromagnetic behavior under cyclic loading
• Execute V&V by comparing model predictions to experimental results
• Translate modeling results into design guidance for materials and components

📋 Requirements

• PhD or MS with 5+ years in mechanical/nuclear/materials engineering
• 5+ years of multiphysics FEA/FVM modeling experience
• Proficiency with MOOSE, Abaqus, COMSOL, or ANSYS
• Experience with HPC environments and parallel computing

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with irradiated materials modeling
• Programming skills in Python or C++
