💼 About This Role

You'll own and evolve Stripe's established sanctions function, leading regional teams and driving next-phase transformation. Your core impact will be modernizing sanctions operations through automation and smarter detection while ensuring regulatory compliance across OFAC, EU, HMT, and UN regimes. This role offers the chance to partner with Engineering and Product as a genuine co-designer of tooling and screening logic.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and develop sanctions managers and analysts across regions
• Own strategic direction of global sanctions program
• Drive sanctions transformation roadmap toward automation
• Partner with Engineering to translate requirements into tooling
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex casework

📋 Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in sanctions compliance
• Deep expertise in OFAC, EU, HMT, and UN regimes
• Proven track record improving sanctions program operations
• Experience partnering with Engineering on tooling design
