Description

You will support, maintain, and enhance our IBM z/OS mainframe environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of mission-critical systems by installing, configuring, upgrading, and tuning system software. You'll work with various teams to support both production and non-production environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as Mainframe Systems Programmer or equivalent
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM z/OS in enterprise environment
• Experience with SMP/E, system upgrades, and maintenance processes
• Solid understanding of JES2, system libraries, and z/OS initialization and configuration
• Familiarity with mainframe security concepts and tools (e.g., RACF)

Responsibilities

• Monitor system software access, performance, and resource utilization
• Maintain z/OS and JES2 software environment
• Install and configure operating system software for development environments
• Implement and verify backup and recovery procedures
• Manage multiple z/OS sysplexes and install new z/OS releases
