Description

You will deploy, operate, and maintain NICE's global customer-hosted databases, resolving customer issues requiring direct database access. You'll manage databases in on-prem data centers and AWS Cloud, performing tasks like AWS console administration, RDS management, performance tuning, and providing 24x7 production support.

Requirements

• 7+ years DBA experience managing multiple DB engines
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and/or MS SQL Server
• Experience with AWS RDS and Azure/AWS cloud platforms
• Strong skills in SQL performance tuning and query optimization
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or IT

Responsibilities

• Manage AWS RDS databases, including health checks, alerts, and performance tuning
• Perform database installation, configuration, backups, restores, patching, and upgrades
• Monitor server performance, memory, CPU, file systems, and databases
• Support high availability solutions like Log Shipping, Mirroring, Replication, Clustering, Always On
• Participate in on-call rota for 24x7 production support
