You'll partner with engineering teams to develop actionable insights that guide improvements to the Wayve AI Driver. You'll use experimental and observational analyses of real and simulated driving to advance functionality, safety, and performance. This role helps define the future of end-to-end AI for autonomous mobility.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Formulate and iterate performance metrics for engineering efforts.
• Design experiments and off-road measurements for safety and performance.
• Investigate bottlenecks in model training and inference.
• Validate hypotheses for unlocking functionality improvements.

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years experience in a Data Science role.
• Fluent in SQL for building large datasets.
• Experience designing robust A/B experiments.
• Proficient in Python or R for statistical analysis.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with machine learning (e.g., PyTorch).
• Experience with causal inference or Bayesian methods.
• Experience with distributed computing (Spark, Hadoop).
