Description

You will manufacture and improve micron-level tolerance machined parts at production volumes on multi-axis CNC machines, using world-class equipment to push the boundaries of machining. This role involves setting up and operating CNC machines, troubleshooting issues, and working with complex, tight tolerance parts for SpaceX's Starlink program.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 5+ years experience with g-code, setup, operation, or programming of CNC mills/lathes
• Experience working in production machining cells
• Experience machining parts
• Ability to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends; lift up to 25 lbs unassisted; stand for extended periods; stoop, bend, crawl

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines machining micron-level tolerance parts at production volumes
• Maintain maximum machine uptime by troubleshooting off-nominal issues and resolving alarms
• Complete machining operations from blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions
• Work with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials
• Maintain best practices and repair tooling as needed
