Description

You will develop highly reliable, real-time software for SpaceX's Starlink satellite network, working on gateways, satellites, user terminals, and switches. Your contributions will directly impact global internet connectivity, particularly in underserved communities, and you'll own the full lifecycle of the software from design to deployment to real-world performance analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, math, or science; or 2+ years professional software dev experience (internships applicable)
• Development experience in C, C++, or assembly
• Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• U.S. citizen or national (ITAR requirement)

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable real-time software for satellites, gateways, user terminals, and switches
• Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews
• Develop prototypes and manage experiments to prove out key design concepts
• Build tools for software development, deployment, data analysis, and test execution across virtual and hardware environments
• Deploy reliable software as part of a continuous integration and release system
