Description

You will lead product development from concept to production, designing electrical systems for power converters and sensors in Archer's all-electric aircraft. You'll define requirements, simulate circuits, create PCB layouts, and validate designs through testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant electrical system and PCB design experience
• Experience designing controllers and sensors for power converters or inverters with EMC considerations
• Proven ability to design PCBA from concept to production
• Experience with high-speed communications and high-volume electronics
• Experience with functional safety and fail-safe designs

Responsibilities

• Lead product development from start to finish
• Develop detailed electrical system requirements for power converters
• Design processor and sensor architectures with microcontroller selection
• Design power supply, communication, signal conditioning, and measurement circuits
• Develop and execute engineering validation plans
