Description

You'll join the Starship Dynamics team, performing structural loads and dynamics analyses for Starship, Super Heavy, and HLS vehicles. You'll work closely with engineers to drive hardware and mission design decisions through analysis, testing, and flight data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline
• 1+ years experience with structural dynamic analyses or system dynamics modeling
• Hands-on experience analyzing data or building hardware (preferred)
• Experience with vibration and shock testing (preferred)
• Experience with NASTRAN, Python, and MATLAB (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Resolve dynamics problems through analysis, test, and flight data
• Own system-level analysis and drive hardware modifications across engineering teams
• Build finite element and lumped element models for launch vehicle systems
• Execute dynamic testing from pre-test analysis through model correlation
• Perform component and vehicle-level analyses using commercial and in-house codes
