Description

You will design and plan outside plant infrastructure for copper and fiber networks, prepare permit packages, and coordinate with contractors to ensure timely, budget-conscious project completion. This role is essential for supporting telecommunications projects from design through construction.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with experience in OSP engineering
• Strong background in engineering, permitting, and construction coordination
• Ability to manage budgets and ensure compliance with standards
• Proficiency with CAD, Varasset, SiteTracker tools preferred
• Ability to travel for field coordination

Responsibilities

• Design and plan OSP facilities for copper and fiber (aerial, buried, conduit)
• Prepare and review engineering drawings and loop loss calculations
• Develop project budgets, monitor costs, and conduct job inspections
• Prepare and submit permit packages to relevant agencies
• Coordinate with municipal officials and utilities on road projects and relocations
