💼 About This Role

You'll lead high-voltage power systems design for utility-scale energy projects including solar, wind, battery storage, and data centers. You'll drive interconnection strategy and design optimization from development through commissioning. This role offers the chance to shape critical energy infrastructure at a company acquired by Google.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Oversee HV transmission and substation design development
• Lead EPCs and external consultants to optimize facility design
• Manage interconnection applications and utility coordination
• Govern technical specifications, design criteria, and standards

📋 Requirements

• 15+ years total experience with technical leadership
• Utility-scale project delivery experience through energization
• Deep experience leading HV substation/collector design (34.5-500 kV)
• Interconnection process expertise, especially ERCOT

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with steady-state modeling tools like ETAP or DigSILENT
• Background in owner's engineering or IE oversight
