Description

As a Senior Powertrain Manufacturing Engineer at Archer, you will design and scale the production line for our Electric Propulsion System (EPS), collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introductions, ensure design for manufacturability, and drive continuous improvement using lean and six sigma methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
• Experience with electric motor or propulsion manufacturing
• Proficiency in automation and tooling specification
• Lean, Six Sigma, or structured problem-solving skills
• Strong cross-functional collaboration ability

Responsibilities

• Design and scale EPS production line from concept to high-rate manufacturing
• Collaborate cross-functionally on new product introductions
• Drive design for manufacturability (DFM) efforts
• Develop and execute manufacturing build plans (line layout, MBOM, tools)
• Perform PFMEA and author work instructions
