💼 About This Role

You'll serve as the school nurse for grades 6-9 at Achievers Early College Prep, a charter school with STEAM pathways. Your role ensures student health, wellness, and safety across the school. This role emphasizes cultural sensitivity and collaboration with staff to support diverse student needs.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform hearing, vision and other health screenings
• Administer medication to students and monitor immunization records
• Develop care plans for students with ongoing conditions
• Prepare incident reports for student and staff injuries

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing or Registered Nurse License
• Experience working in collaboration with students and staff
• Demonstrated compliance experience in a school setting

• Standard School Nurse Certificate (CSN) for NJ
• Experience managing an audit process
• Cultural sensitivity and experience with diverse populations
