💼 About This Role

You'll provide interim finance leadership to colleges and universities, stepping in as CFO or Finance Director. You'll oversee daily financial operations, strengthen internal controls, and guide system optimizations for platforms like Ellucian Banner or Workday. This flexible, project-based role offers 10-30 hours/week with remote work.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Provide interim leadership in general accounting, grants, and disbursements.
• Partner with campus leaders and auditors to assess and improve processes.
• Prepare reconciliations, interim reports, and financial statements.
• Support compliance with federal grant requirements and institutional policies.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in higher education finance or accounting leadership.
• Previous role as Controller, CFO, or Director of Finance.
• Hands-on experience with higher ed ERP systems (Banner, Colleague, Workday, Jenzabar).
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and grants management.

✨ Nice to Have

• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Previous consulting experience a plus.
