💼 About This Role

You'll support core energy management systems for Helion's fusion generators, focusing on high-power electrical systems. Your work directly enables clean, low-cost electricity to the world. You'll design, commission, and optimize systems for pulsed magnetics and grid-tie infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, test, and support high-voltage power systems for pulsed magnetic coils
• Oversee procurement, construction, and commissioning of pulse delivery systems
• Develop system architectures and review schematics and installation drawings
• Lead design reviews to validate scalable and reliable solutions

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years experience in power electronics from design to delivery
• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
• Experience designing, fabricating, installing, and testing electronic systems
• Strong knowledge of solid-state switching technologies (IGBTs, MOSFETs, SCRs)

✨ Nice to Have

• Proficiency with LTSpice, SIMetrix/SIMPLIS, Altium, and MATLAB
• Advanced troubleshooting with oscilloscopes and pulse generators
• Experience with PCB design software
