Description

You'll join the engineering team at Sigma Computing to build high-performance backend systems on modern data architectures. You'll solve challenging distributed systems problems and develop new algorithms and APIs using modern tools like Rust, Go, GraphQL, and Kubernetes. Your work will directly impact the accessibility of data for all users.

Requirements

• 2+ years industry experience building and maintaining high-quality software
• Experience building and deploying robust web applications in continuous deployment
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals
• Data model design and API development experience
• Administered cloud service infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure)

Responsibilities

• Solve challenging problems in providing interactive data warehouse experiences
• Build backend distributed services, new algorithms, and modern APIs
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve
• Design and implement new software features
• Collaborate with peers through design and code reviews
