Description

As a Senior Structures Design Engineer at Stoke Space, you will provide technical leadership in designing and building structures for our fully reusable Nova launch vehicle. You'll own hardware projects from concept through flight, work hands-on with manufacturing and test teams, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in aerospace primary structures
• Designed, built, and tested flown structures
• Proficiency with CAD (NX preferred) and analysis software (ANSYS preferred)
• Ability to determine appropriate level of analysis from hand calcs to FEA
• Bachelor's degree in engineering

Responsibilities

• Define structural design of rocket in coordination with vehicle owners
• Analyze structural components and write margin summaries
• Procure and manage hardware for owned components and structures
• Work with manufacturing and test engineers to build and integrate hardware
• Track and disposition non-conformances for structural hardware
