Description

You will join SpaceX's security operations team to detect and respond to sophisticated adversaries targeting the company's cutting-edge space technologies. Your role involves developing detection mechanisms, automation frameworks, and data pipelines to protect systems used to launch rockets and control spacecraft.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in incident response, security operations, or security engineering (or bachelor's degree in relevant field)
• Experience with modern programming languages (Python, Go, C++, Rust)
• Experience with Kubernetes environment and infrastructure automation
• Knowledge of SIEM systems and security operations procedures
• Knowledge of common attack trends and techniques

Responsibilities

• Build and improve security detection mechanisms and automation frameworks
• Engage with system owners to identify and prioritize detection gaps
• Investigate anomalous or suspicious behavior in the environment
• Participate in adversary emulation activities
• Develop solutions to address visibility gaps and bolster resilience
