💼 About This Role

You'll join the Beta Islet Team to lead large-scale media preparation and stem cell differentiation into beta islet cells. Your work will directly impact the development of engineered cell therapies for diabetes. You will troubleshoot and teach key techniques while ensuring high-quality data collection.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform large-scale media preparation in closed systems.
• Reconstitute small molecules and growth factors for differentiation.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and reagents.
• Expand and differentiate pluripotent stem cells into SC-islets.
• Cryopreserve stem cells, SC-islets, and intermediates.

📋 Requirements

• BA/MA or MS in cell biology, stem cell biology, or biotechnology.
• 2-3+ years of post-graduate academic or industry experience in cell biology.
• Experience with large-scale media preparation and closed system equipment.
• Experience with stem cell differentiation into beta islet cells.

• Strong background in beta islet cell biology.
• Experience in suspension differentiation of pluripotent stem cells.
