💼 About This Role

You'll design and build backend services for Temporal's Nexus framework, a durable execution system for orchestrating work across teams. Your work will enable highly scalable, multi-tenant services that improve modularity and fault isolation. This role offers the chance to shape a new enterprise offering in a fully remote, open-source organization.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement core backend service features for Nexus
• Provide test coverage for unit, integration, and performance
• Document design choices and operational knowledge
• Set up service level logs, metrics, alerts, dashboards, and runbooks

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years in distributed systems production environment
• Solid computer science fundamentals in distributed systems including multithreading and concurrency
• 4+ years developing customer facing APIs and Frameworks
• Experience writing concurrent code in Go, Java, or similar (intermediate to advanced level)
