You'll gain hands-on emergency medicine experience alongside credentialed veterinary technicians in a fast-paced ER environment. You'll pair with a mentor, shadow triage and diagnostics, and build skills for your proficiency checklist. This unpaid externship offers flexibility in location and duration.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Pair with a credentialed veterinary technician for real-time mentoring
• Shadow and assist with triage, outpatient visits, diagnostics, anesthesia, inpatient care
• Practice skills required by your school's proficiency checklist with guidance

📋 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology or nursing program
• Enrolled in a course that requires externship hours or skills
• Current rabies vaccination or titer required
