Description

You will sell Abnormal AI security solutions to state, local, and education (SLED) agencies in Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, and Missouri, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract signing and expansion. Your role is to overachieve new annual recurring revenue targets by hunting new logos and growing existing accounts.

Requirements

  • 2+ years direct sales experience prospecting and closing SLED accounts
  • Located in territory (OK, KS, AR, MO)
  • Proven track record of success closing new account logos, cross-selling/upselling, and growing existing accounts
  • Skill in negotiating with large organizations and closing complex sales
  • Consistent over quota performance or top 5% of sales org
  • Technically competent in security, email, cloud, AI
  • Experience selling subscription software/SaaS to CISOs and security personnel
  • Start-up experience at an early stage company with limited resources
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

  • Sell security solutions to SLED agencies to overachieve new annual recurring revenue quota
  • Work accounts from initial conversations through signing a contract and up-selling once they’re a customer
  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities within accounts to supply enough pipeline to hit sales targets
  • Work with Customer Success to ensure timely renewal and expansion sale opportunities
  • Continually document results and maintain accurate data across all sales systems (Salesforce, Highspot, Close Plan)
  • Be a voice for the customer/prospect with internal teams including Sales Engineering/POV team, Product and Marketing
