Description

You will own the build and maintenance of avionics HITL test assets, including installing hardware, fabricating wire harnesses, and assembling test racks for satellite subsystems. This role involves performing electrical checkouts, supporting design engineering during development, and coordinating cross-functionally to meet aggressive schedules and quality standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency with hand, power, and pneumatic mechanical tools
• Experience with avionics hardware installation and wire harnessing
• Attention to detail for electrical component quality and reliability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with test rack fabrication and HITL test beds

Responsibilities

• Support full build and maintenance of HITL test assets
• Assemble production test racks for HITL, acceptance testing, and qualification
• Perform electrical checkouts (continuity, discontinuity, multimeter measurements)
• Assist design engineering during hardware development and pre-production
• Work autonomously and coordinate cross-functionally to meet schedule and quality requirements
