💼 About This Role

You'll design and maintain backend services for a live mobile game at Limit Break, a pioneering blockchain gaming studio. Your work will power player experiences like inventory, IAP, and live events under real-time operational pressure. You'll help shape engineering best practices in a high-growth startup backed by top investors.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement backend services using Go, gRPC, MySQL, Redis, and service APIs.
• Own gameplay-adjacent systems: inventory, IAP, leaderboards, messaging, and guilds.
• Build safe systems for liveops: remote config, event launches, and rollbacks.
• Diagnose production issues using logs, metrics, and traces.

📋 Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with production services at scale
• Proficiency in Go, Node.js, or C#
• Experience with Docker and containerization

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with mobile game backend development
• Experience with AWS, Amazon EKS, and cloud-native apps
• Unity game development experience
