💼 About This Role

You'll operate AST satellite payload subsystems to support constellation service and in-orbit testing. You'll monitor payload telemetry and coordinate configuration changes to maintain commercial service levels. This is a day-staff shift position with occasional weekend and on-call support.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Operate payload tools for in-orbit testing and commercial service
• Monitor service automation and analyze telemetry results
• Coordinate payload configuration changes to maintain service levels
• Maintain situational awareness of satellite and payload status

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or Math
• 0–2 years of experience or equivalent
• Technical understanding of satellite system architecture and subsystem functionality
• Ability to work independently in an evolving system environment

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with satellite communication payloads
• Multi-satellite LEO constellation experience
• Programming experience in Python, Java, Matlab, or C#
