💼 About This Role

You'll be the first dedicated platform engineer at Savvy, defining how we build, deploy, and operate software as we scale. You'll assess our current posture, evaluate the right tools and architecture, and build it. This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity and writes application code regularly.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Evaluate and architect cloud infrastructure strategy
• Design and implement infrastructure-as-code foundations
• Own the deployment pipeline end-to-end
• Build developer tooling and workflows

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Comfort reading and contributing to Rails/GraphQL backend and Next.js frontend
• Strong proficiency with AWS, Docker, and Terraform
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)

• Experience building developer experience programs
• Startup experience (Series A-C)
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows
