💼 About This Role

You'll perform ultrasound studies and facilitate ultrasound training at VEG hospitals, working closely with emergency doctors to provide same-day scans. Your role is critical in helping pets and their owners during emergencies. You'll also coordinate education opportunities and develop training programs to elevate the skills of your team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform ultrasound studies and facilitate training at home and regional hospitals
• Track doctor and nursing team skills with a VEG Ultrasound Certificate checklist
• Coordinate weekly schedule to balance floor shifts with training responsibilities
• May develop ultrasound curriculum materials like PowerPoints and simulations

📋 Requirements

• Credentialed as Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT/LVMT) or equivalent
• 3+ years veterinary ultrasound experience
• Previous training experience and patience to teach
• Willingness to travel to regional hospitals and training facilities

• RDMS certification
• Experience with teleconsultation radiology services (e.g., Antech, SonoPath)
• Ability to create educational materials
