💼 About This Role

You'll design secure enterprise architectures for a Department of Defense information system, ensuring compliance with RMF and Zero Trust standards. You'll protect mission-critical data while enabling operational agility. This fully remote role places you at the forefront of defense cybersecurity modernization.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead secure architecture design across IL2–IL5 environments
• Define security requirements for hardware, software, and cloud components
• Conduct risk assessments, security reviews, and threat modeling
• Implement Zero Trust principles including segmentation and encryption

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience in federal or defense environments
• Deep understanding of RMF, NIST SP 800-53/171, and DISA STIG/SRG frameworks
• Expertise in cloud security architecture and Zero Trust implementation
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance (SCI preferred)

✨ Nice to Have

• CISSP, CISM, or CASP+ certification
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty
• CompTIA Security+ CE (DoD 8570 baseline)
