Description

You will provide social emotional and mental health counseling to students, collaborate with families and educators, and help build a supportive educational community at SpaceX's Starbase campus. Your work directly supports the families of the SpaceX workforce and contributes to the broader mission of enabling human life on Mars.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years working with students in teaching or counseling capacity
• State of Texas LPC, school counselor certification, or social worker credential (preferred)
• Master's degree in counseling, education, psychology, or related field (preferred)
• U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirement)

Responsibilities

• Provide social emotional and mental health counseling services to students
• Set long-term programming visions and lead implementation for school and communities
• Work with students in 1:1 or small group settings and document interventions
• Provide guidance to families on student progress, IEPs, and support strategies
• Advise teachers and Head of School on mental wellbeing programs and practices
