You'll build and scale low-latency, high-throughput exchange infrastructure at Polymarket, the world's largest prediction market. Your work directly impacts market quality and reliability in a $21B annual volume platform. You'll operate with high ownership and minimal bureaucracy.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement low-latency C/C++ exchange and matching engine components
• Profile, tune, and debug performance-critical systems for latency and throughput
• Build scalable messaging and event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka)
• Ensure reliability, correctness, and security through rigorous testing and design

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional C/C++ experience
• Deep knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Proven experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems in production
• Strong problem-solving skills and end-to-end ownership of complex systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Background in finance, trading systems, or exchange infrastructure
• Experience with multithreading and lock-free programming
• Familiarity with distributed messaging systems (Kafka)
