You'll define the technical vision and roadmap for the Identity and Access Management Platform at Upstart, the leading AI lending marketplace. You'll lead the design and execution of systems that ensure secure and seamless authentication for millions of borrowers and partners, directly impacting access to affordable credit.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define long-term technical direction and roadmap for Identity and Access Management.
• Lead design, development, and execution of secure authentication systems.
• Guide architectural evolution with emphasis on security and scalability.
• Mentor and develop technical leaders across engineering teams.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience building scalable APIs with containerization like Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Kotlin or Ruby
• Track record of mentoring and developing technical leaders

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect specifications
• Background in Keycloak or equivalent IAM solution
• Experience with Kotlin or Java backend services
