Description

As a BSL specialist, you will train advanced language models by evaluating their BSL-to-English translation, classifier usage, and understanding of Deaf culture. Your work will involve conversing with the model on real-world communication scenarios, verifying linguistic accuracy, and documenting error traces to improve AI reasoning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Deaf Studies, Sign Language Interpreting, Linguistics, or related field
• Fluency in British Sign Language and understanding of Deaf culture
• Knowledge of BSL grammar, syntax, non-manual markers, and regional variations
• RID certification, teaching experience, or community interpreting projects preferred
• Clear metacognitive communication skills
