💼 About This Role

You'll own the full lifecycle of superconducting hardware for Helion's fusion machines—from simulation to integration. You'll coordinate across teams to qualify technologies that bring clean, limitless energy closer. This role directly impacts the world's first fusion power plant.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Analyze magnetic fields and coupled effects using COMSOL and ANSYS
• Design, build, test, and iterate superconducting magnet systems
• Develop experimental plans and diagnostics for performance validation
• Collaborate with plasma physicists to optimize system outcomes

📋 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience delivering a functional superconducting system in a real-world application
• Strong background in electromagnetics, superconductivity, and multiphysics modeling
• Hands-on experience designing and testing superconducting magnets or related systems
• Proficiency with COMSOL, ANSYS, or equivalent simulation tools

• Experience across mechanical, electrical, and plasma physics disciplines
• Proven ability to independently drive complex technical projects from concept to execution
