Description

As a senior antenna engineer on the Starshield team, you will work on advanced development programs for U.S. National Security, designing advanced antenna and feed systems including phased array and reflector products. You'll collaborate in a fast-paced environment, iterating rapidly to go from design and demo to operational capability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in computer engineering or electrical engineering
• 5+ years R&D experience in RF and antennas
• 5+ years using 3D EM simulation tools (CST, HFSS, FEKO, EMPro, TICRA, or XFDTD)
• Experience with RF concepts: impedance matching, antenna types, smith chart, power handling, microwave network analysis, RF filter design
• Ability to obtain Top-Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Design advanced antenna and feed systems for next-gen products including phased array and reflector products
• Fabricate and characterize prototypes of antennas, feed systems and RF front ends
• Develop software and test digital beamforming systems for full phased array functionality
• Provide phased array expertise to set specifications and debug satellite phased array products
• Lead or support integration of antennas to spacecraft and other systems
