Description

You will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of control systems for our novel Direct Air Capture (DAC) systems, working with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and efficient automation. This onsite role in Berkeley, CA involves architecting PLC/HMI systems, creating electrical schematics, and leading commissioning efforts at a groundbreaking climate tech startup.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 10+ years PLC programming and industrial controls experience
• Proven track record designing and testing full control systems
• Skilled in controls circuit design and industrial safety systems
• Proficiency in Visual Basic and Rockwell FactoryTalk for HMI

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable PLC/HMI systems across product platforms
• Develop and troubleshoot ladder logic for Allen-Bradley PLCs
• Design HMI screens for operational control and visibility
• Create and implement electrical control schematics using CAD tools
• Lead FAT/SAT and onsite commissioning for automation systems
