💼 About This Role

You'll lead design and development of electrical enclosures and cables for Mainspring's innovative Linear Generator, a fuel-flexible power generation technology. You'll drive system-level performance improvements and own projects from concept through manufacturing launch. This role stands out for its leadership component, directly managing engineers and guiding cross-functional technical decisions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead ideation and design reviews for innovative electrical subsystem solutions.
• Own structure, layout, optimization, and deployment of electrical enclosures and harnesses.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define design direction and validate solutions.
• Manage and mentor engineers, guiding technical decisions and priorities.

📋 Requirements

• BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field with 11+ years experience.
• Proven ownership of electrical enclosure and cable designs in cross-functional settings.
• Deep expertise in sheet metal, mechanical-electrical integration, and DFM.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and PDM; experience with CFD/FEA tools is a plus.
