💼 About This Role

You'll manage back-end billing and collections for a mission-driven addiction recovery organization. You'll ensure claims are processed accurately and denials are resolved promptly. This role offers remote flexibility and a supportive team environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Review denied claims via practice management system and portals
• Research and respond to insurance documentation requests
• Process appeals of insurance denials until resolved
• Follow up on unpaid claims after 45 days

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in physician group practice denial management
• Experience resolving out-of-network denials and value-based claims
• Proficient in CPT and ICD-10 coding terminology

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with opioid use disorder and behavioral health billing
• Certified Medical Coder (CPC or CCS)
• Knowledge of healthcare and mental health regulations
