Description

You will lead a team of data scientists supporting SoFi's lending businesses, using data-driven analysis to drive product strategy and business growth. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, set high standards for quality and delivery, and mentor your team on best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• 4+ years Data Science or Software Engineering experience
• 2+ years management experience
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience with Airflow, DBT, Snowflake, and BI tools (Tableau, Looker)

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Data Scientists supporting Personal and Student Loans
• Collaborate with senior leaders to identify and prioritize Data Science initiatives
• Set high standards for quality and on-time delivery
• Recruit, grow, and retain top talent
• Mentor data scientists on best practices, coding standards, and documentation
