💼 About This Role

You'll own customer security engagements and represent Modal's security posture externally. You'll work directly with security teams, translate architecture into credible narratives, and drive security improvements. This role sits at the intersection of security, engineering, and go-to-market, building trust and accelerating deals.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead technical security conversations with customers and prospects
• Own responses to complex security questionnaires and RFPs
• Identify recurring customer requirements and drive engineering improvements
• Evolve customer-facing security materials and trust center

📋 Requirements

• Experience in security engineering, security GRC, or solutions engineering
• Strong experience engaging with customer security teams or enterprise sales
• Solid understanding of modern cloud architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure) and distributed systems
• Ability to explain security controls (auth, isolation, encryption) in real systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with AI infrastructure or cloud security
• Background in technical product security or field engineering
