You'll own the design and evolution of backend systems for a high-throughput ad exchange, operating at hundreds of billions of daily requests. Your core impact will be leading AI-native engineering practices across the team and architecting auction infrastructure for scale. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Design backend systems for high-throughput, low-latency exchange scale
• Lead architectural decisions for auction, bid processing, and traffic shaping
• Establish AI engineering practices including RAG and agentic workflows
• Apply AI to traffic scoring, bid shading, yield optimization, and anomaly detection

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years software engineering experience with strong backend track record
• 5+ years in adtech infrastructure (SSP, DSP, exchange, or ad server)
• Experience building systems at exchange scale with high QPS and strict latency
• Hands-on LLM integration patterns: RAG, tool use, multi-step agentic workflows

✨ Nice to Have

• Deep fluency in OpenRTB, bid request/response, auction mechanics
• Experience with distributed systems: messaging, caching, observability
• Point of view on where AI is and isn't the right tool
